Dr Wabbas Mahmud is the Principal GP at our practice, bringing extensive experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. He completed his General Practice training in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, and holds postgraduate qualifications including a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a Diploma in Dermatology, both from the UK.

Dr Mahmud has a wide range of clinical interests, including diabetes management, heart disease, minor surgical procedures, asthma action plans, health assessments (including Advance Care Directives), travel medicine and vaccinations, Aboriginal Health Checks, obesity management, mental health, and skin cancer screening and surgery.

He is certified to administer Yellow Fever vaccinations and will be actively involved in our Skin Cancer Clinic. Dr Mahmud also collaborates with Nurse Manager Jenny Hall in delivering ear suction services through our Ear Clinic. In addition to his work at the practice, Dr Mahmud provides care at two local nursing homes and has a special interest in working with elderly patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive, compassionate, and continuity-focused care.
