At Mount Hutton Medical & Skin Cancer Centre, we provide safe and effective intravenous infusions, where patients receive intravenous (IV) treatments directly into their bloodstream via a special soft plastic needle. Our clinic provides a more comfortable environment for iron and Aclasta infusions.
Iron Infusions
Our experienced medical team delivers personalised care in a monitored clinical setting to help restore iron levels, relieve symptoms, and improve overall health and wellbeing.
- Pre-Infusion Screening and Blood Tests: Consult with one of our friendly doctors for comprehensive evaluation including medical history, symptoms, and relevant blood tests ensuring safety and suitability for intravenous iron treatment.
- Intravenous Iron Administration: Delivered in a comfortable, monitored clinical environment. Close observation during the infusion and immediate post-treatment period to ensure safety.

To ensure your safety, you are required to consult one of our doctors to check your suitability for iron infusion. Please bring referral letter clearly stating indication, blood test results and prescription.
Aclasta Infusions
Osteoporosis causes bones to become fragile and more prone to fractures.
Aclasta is an intravenous treatment that helps strengthen bones, lower the risk of fractures, and support long-term bone health.
The infusion takes about 30 minutes and only needs to be given once a year, making it a convenient alternative to daily tablets or hospital-based treatment.

Step 1: Book with doctor for suitability evaluation (usual consultation charges apply
Step 2: Book your place in infusion lounge, a private theatre fee of $50.00, payable regardless of Health Care or concession card status
Step 3: Infusion day – A long consultation by doctor will be required, Full fee 160 and concession fee 150 applies
